RIVERS CASINO VOLUNTEERS WITH IOTA PHI FOUNDATION FOR ANNUAL HOLIDAY GIFT WRAPPING AND TOY GIVEAWAY
Rivers Gives team helps distribute hundreds of toys, turkeys and hams to local families
Pittsburgh — Dec. 16, 2025 — Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s Rivers Gives team is getting ready to close out the year in the spirit of service, partnering with the Iota Phi Foundation of Pittsburgh for two holiday volunteer events: a group toy-wrapping followed by the annual Pittsburgh Omega Christmas Toy Giveaway, which will take place this Saturday, Dec. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon, Rivers Gives volunteers will make their way to Anderson Manor, located at 1423 Liverpool St., to wrap approximately 700 toys that will be distributed to local families during the Iota Phi Foundation’s holiday celebration. Volunteers will sort, package and wrap gifts in preparation for this weekend’s giveaway.
Then on Saturday, Dec. 20, members of the casino’s leadership team will return to Anderson Manor and assist other Omega volunteers with distribution. Located inside a heated outdoor tent onsite, Rivers representatives will help bestow the gifts wrapped by the Rivers Gives team, along with turkeys and hams, on families ahead of the holidays.
This marks Rivers Casino’s sixth year as lead sponsor for the annual event. In addition to supporting the toy donations, the casino is once again providing all the turkeys and hams for the giveaway.

Rivers Gives is the casino’s long-running community outreach program in which Team Members report to work at a local nonprofit instead of on the gaming floor.
In October, the Rivers Gives team supported WTAE-TV’s Project Bundle-Up, in which volunteers accompanied local seniors on a personalized winter-wear shopping trip at Macy’s, ensuring each participant received the clothing they needed for the cold winter months.
