After topping $1 million, Rivers’ Pai Gow Poker jackpot gave one lucky player a taste of the big prize. A recent 10% winning-hand payout brought the total to $977,000, but it’s already climbing back toward seven figures. Any hand could turn someone into a millionaire.
This isn’t the first time Rivers has witnessed Pai Gow history in the making. In 2022, the casino set a world record when a $1.2 million jackpot was hit. Then, in January 2024, Rivers beat its own record with a $1.39 million win — again breaking what was the world record at the time.
Last Month: One Hand Wins Almost $400K

Wheelhouse Bar & Grill Kitchen Gets an Upgrade
Renovations are officially underway at one of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh’s favorite casual dining spots. Wheelhouse Bar & Grill began its kitchen remodel in late July, with exciting updates expected to be complete by November 2025.
The remodel is limited to the kitchen area, so guests can expect the same welcoming atmosphere and dining experience throughout the renovation period.
During the renovation period, room service at The Landing Hotel will be handled by FLIPT instead of Wheelhouse. Guests can also look forward to a new, rotating menu featuring five to six signature dishes each week.
