ELTON JOHN TRIBUTE: ‘THE ROCKET MAN SHOW’ STARRING RUS ANDERSON LANDS AT RIVERS CASINO PITTSBURGH
Acclaimed performer brings the Rocket Man’s music and style to The Event Center in early 2026
Pittsburgh — Nov. 6, 2025 — The ultimate Elton John experience comes to Rivers Casino Pittsburgh when “The Rocket Man Show,” starring Rus Anderson, takes flight at The Event Center on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m.
This tribute to the legendary British singer, pianist and songwriter will have guests singing along to classics such as “Tiny Dancer,” “Candle in the Wind” and many more of John’s enduring hits.
Anderson not only looks and sounds like the Rocket Man; he was also handpicked by John to be his official body double for the “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour. Anderson delivers an electrifying performance full of classic hits and show-stopping piano moments, all in the unmistakable style of Elton John.
Anderson’s performance pilots a night of greatest hits, gorgeous costumes and fierce piano playing. Many of the iconic jumpsuits, boots, and glasses are ’70s and ’80s originals worn by John at past live concerts.
As featured on E!’s “Clash of the Cover Bands,” Anderson’s portrayal of Elton has been described as “amazing” by Jimmy Fallon and “phenomenal” by Queen’s Adam Lambert. The Rocket Man Show is perhaps summed up best by “All About That Bass” megastar Meghan Trainor, who claims, “You IS Elton!”
Tickets for “The Rocket Man Show” start at $19 and are on sale now at RiversCasino.com/Pittsburgh.
